"Had some dental work done at SEDA Dental last month and it was quite pleasant. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, everyone is incredibly nice and caring. If you are looking for great dentists, SEDA is the place."- S.R. / Google / Apr 12, 2019
"This place has been over the top kind, helpful, caring, and I can say even loving to my wife through all the work she has had done for her teeth! Even when she was in the hospital for an unrelated infection in her jaw, they were there to ease both our minds at such a scary time. The oral surgeon consult at the hospital said it was something to do with her teeth and recommended to cut all her teeth out! The hospital discharged her with a life threatening bacterial infection! We went back to SEDA and they consulted with like 5 other oral surgeons trying to figure this out. They recommended a great oral surgeon that we went to and he figured it out and solved the infection (yes, it ended up having nothing to do with her teeth, so thank God we did not listen to the hospital and went to Seda again to get their opinion! You all literally saved my wife's life!I sincerely, and lovingly thank you all for bringing care, love and compassion to what it means to be in business for your customers!UPDATE - I wanted to add specifically that Dr. Butenko has been and is such an inspiration to what "TRUE" customer service means! I have worked in sales & customer relations for the last 30+ years, and it is very unfortunate that so many places have forgotten that it is their customers, and their happiness, that is their absolute BEST form of advertisement....even better and more far-reaching that social media!Thank you Dr. Butenko for being there on weekend calls, your days off, and in a critically scary time for my wife and myself. Also, I could not make this complete without thanking Ashly (my wife calls her Smashly) and Fernanda, as well. My wife raves about both of you as well, and honestly everyone there! But to complete this with a little bit of a laugh for you Smashly....we LOVE you too! :)"- J.C. / Google / Aug 29, 2019
"From the moment my son and I walked into the office , we were warmly greeted by Fernanda. Dr. Butenko offered us treatment alternatives in a professional and no pressure manner. Federico did a great job cleaning my son's teeth! Highly recommended...we will be back!"- A.R. / Google / Aug 22, 2019

"I am highly pleased with the service I received at this office. Ashly, the patient coordinator, was great. It was easy making an appointment. I received a cleaning and they referred me to an oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I’m so thankful! Thank you for everything Seda Dental! Ms. Isaac"- B.L. / Google / Aug 16, 2019
Implants can restore one or several lost teeth by connecting the implant to a crown, denture, or bridge. You may prefer implant dentistry if you have a removable or cemented dental restoration, but don't like the appearance, fit, or if there's special cleaning needed. Dental implants can be treated just like your normal teeth with daily flossing and brushing. At your consultation, we will evaluate the health of your jawbone and gums to determine if you are a good candidate for dental implants. In some cases, a bone or gum graft surgery may be needed prior to implant surgery to strengthen your mouth. Dental implants may not be appropriate if you use tobacco products, are pregnant, or are being treated for another issue, such as periodontal disease.
What To Expect
To prepare for your dental implants, you may have teeth extracted, as well as gum and bone grafts. When you are ready for dental implant surgery, the needed areas will be given local anesthesia to numb your mouth. Other anesthesia or sedation may be used to relax you throughout the treatment. We will start by making a surgical incision in your gums so the post can be placed in your jawbone. The incision in the gums will be stitched closed with some of the dental implants above the gums. This will be repeated if several implants are required. While the dental implant integrates into the gums and jawbone over the following months, a temporary cover will be placed over the implants. As soon as a member of our team decides your implant is strong enough, your permanent restoration (crown, bridge, or denture) can be connected to your implant and adjusted for a comfortable fit.
There may be some short-term inflammation in your mouth and lower face, plus discomfort, bruising, and minor bleeding after your implant procedure. We will speak with you about what is to be expected and what should be reported to our office. We may also give you a prescription for pain relievers and antibiotics. After your dental implants are integrated and your restoration is connected, you should develop a good oral care routine at home that includes daily brushing and flossing. You should schedule annual exams and bi-annual professional cleanings at SEDA Dental of Pompano Beach so our team can evaluate the health of your mouth and implants. We will let you know if your restorations or implants should be adjusted, repaired, or replaced.
Based on your dental insurance company and personal coverage, part of the expenses of your implants and custom restoration might be paid for. We will talk to your dental insurance company to understand your coverage and determine your personal cost. At your initial consultation, we can estimate your expenses and discuss payment methods we accept, along with information on low-interest medical financing.
Implants with custom restorations may be a good option if you are looking for a replacement for missing teeth that is simple to care for and can last for many years. Our team will explain the steps needed, starting with surgery for implant placement and your restoration options. To get more information on implants, schedule a consultation at SEDA Dental of Pompano Beach.
